SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing is the most commonly used method for printing textiles and is actually the cheapest solution for 1-color printing from 10 pieces!

The advantages of screen printing are:

•very good wash resistance, durable print.

•beautiful opaque colors on a dark background.

•large quantities possible at low cost.

•full color possible on white and dark surfaces.

• reproduction of Pantone colors possible.

•Special inks to prevent color bleed onto polyester are available.

The cons:

•entire order must be printed in one go.

•small additional orders in 1 color up to 10 pieces are quite expensive.

•the lower the number and the more colors, the more expensive due to the start-up and set-up costs.

•A cliché or screen printing frame is required for each printing color.
